School Council page
A ballot takes place each year and pupils vote for Woodlands Academy School Council members.
The School Council benefits the whole school, pupils and teachers, because it provides opportunities for pupils to communicate their feelings as well as influence decisions that are made within school. Councillors develop skills such as confidence, communication and negotiation.
The School Council are invited to send representatives to meet with the school’s Senior Leadership Team to put forward suggestions and ideas for school improvement.
